Q-Jet Good Enough?

Hey,
i just got my Q-Jet rebuildt, and its not bad for my 305. I am planning to get a 350 in April and make it fast but not horrible gas mileage. so kinda the best of both worlds.. but i am sure every one wants that but just wonsering if you guys know any think you can do to kinda beef if the cfm or the rods.. i read some articles in Chevy High Profomance mag. and they say that it is one of the best carbs to fine tune. so i know that there is some thing you can do. but i dunno what.

Check this out https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/quadrajet.shtml

The only computer-controlled high performance applications GM tried were the L69 (190 hp) and HO 350 Camaro Conversion Kit, which put a ZZ4 crate engine under the 3rd gen computer controls (in an emissions-legal configuration, no less). Other model lines used CC carbs on 350s, but they weren't exactly "hi-po".

The computer does most of the "fine" tuning for you, all you need to do is make sure it's properly adjusted, and do the secondary tuning.
