damp weather stalling

the restart is not too hard. cap, rotor plugs, and wires were all replaced less than 500 miles ago. but it will stall out when its damp out still. could this be related to the carburator?

at idle...
i'll start the car, it'll start fine. then i'll drive it to the first red light i see, stop.. the car's RPM's will slowly go from the idle rpms (700rpms), down to 0 and stall.

If humidity is really the factor leading to your problems, the chances of it being the carb are pretty slim. Icing, maybe, but not likely.
Sounds more like a choke adjustment issue (pull-off, or opening rate).
