hey all.. i have a cc 305 with a quad on it. and the computer wont stay on... the mixture control silenoid only click for about 20 seconds, then turns off.. its like the comp doesnt know that the car is running.. any ideas? is there a wire that is asposed to hook up somewhere to tell the comp that the car is running? thanks.. i really need to get this figgered out.. im gettin a very rich a/f ratio right now

Sounds like the 4-wire plug that hangs down from the back of the dist is unplugged.
oh.. so that has to be plugged in for the computer to know the car is running?

Ummmmm..... yeah..... the computer is inside the vehicle, but the engine is under the hood, and those wires are how they communicate with each other.
That's the same connector one unplugs to set the timing.
