vacuum to fuel regulator
I am running an edelbrock 1406, the diagram I have shows two vacuum ports on the front of the card, the both go to the distributor, one is if you have emmissions and the other is for non emmissions. Of course I am using the non emmissions to the distributor.
I am also running a 192lph electric fuel pump in the tank feeding a mallory regulator that brings it down to 5-6 psi for the card. The regulator has a vacuum boost port that is supposed to lower psi at idle (?), my question is, can I stick a vacuum hose from the emmissions port on the carb to the port on the regulator? Will it work in the way that the regulator would require?
I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

The "emissions" port has vacuum at idle?
There really isn't any reason to lower the pressure at idle. From what I understand, that's intended for boosted applications to raise the pressure under boost conditions.
