ok question on two carbs
which carb would be best for my application a Holley 650dp or 700dp? would the 700 make that much more hp? and would it sacrifice alot of mpg in doing so? if any. just wonderin in goin with one or the other, just need imput. Right now i have a edelbrock 600cfm vs and i dont like it. I have a t56 so a dp would help me out.

The 650 would probably give slightly better throttle response and MPG. Whether you could measure either without knowing which happened to be installed on the engine at any given time, doubtful.
The 700 would certainly not be overkill.

hmmm....so, would the 650 be better? ok since mpg is negligible, for better performance...in the 1/4mile which would be better?

Most likely the larger carb would do better in the 1/4 mile.
