Will i need to run a regulator with this pump if i'm using a 830 or 850 double pumper? Going on a race set-up 406, drag use only.
I guess i should also ask if this is enough pump for this motor?

That's plenty of fuel flow for your combo-I'm using a 95gpm with a HP spring if that gives you any comparison.
Personally i'd still intall a regulator, 1. future system expandability, and 2. if you get a voltage spike or something goofy it'll prevent the fuel from blowing out the vent tubes and possbily causing problems.
And for the record with all my engines and fuel pumps, have always set idle FP at 8.5-8.75psi. The little pumps WILL drop psi going down track so stepping it up ahead of time helps. Also even though you dont need sewer line for fuel lines, minimum I'd install is 1/2" or -8 that way it's done for future mods also. I personally run 5/8" or -10, but have always intended to feed the motor and the NOS solenoids off one fuel line from the tank.
