Car: 1984 iroc z28 1977 chevy short bed
Engine: 305 with a comp cam/ 350 built
Transmission: 700R4 with shift kit/ 4speed
Axle/Gears: idunno bout the car, 3.73posi
carb adjustments...
i just put a rebuilt Quadrajet on my 84 camaro, i ran the diagnostic on it and i got a code 44 which says: lean exhaust: how do i adjust the air/fuel mixture on it without taking it to a shop? the book wont tell me so i need your guys help. thanks

Axle/Gears: 12 bolt, 9 bolt
and I'd spend a few dollars replacing all the rubber and plastic vacuum lines. A vacuum leak misleads the MAF sensor and tells the ECM then it tells the MC solenoid to lean out the mixture. Thread Starter

ok, ill do that, but when its cold, it floods out bigger than shi*, and it throws out as much black smoke as a freight train, could it be somethin else besides that also?
