SHOULD I TAKE THE TPI FUEL LINES OUT AND PUT 1 FUEL LINE AND DROP IT INTO THE GAS TANK AND USE THE MANUAL FUEL PUMP, OR SHOULD I BLOCK THE RETURN FUEL LINE KEEP THE EXISTING ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP AND BUY A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR TO BRING THE FUEL PRESSURE DOWN TO 5 LBS. PLEASE HELP.

First, welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
Second, we'd appreciate it if you wouldn't type in all-caps. That's yelling, and we'd appreciate it if you wouldn't yell at us. . .
Okay, to answer your question: Keep the lines going from the tank to the engine compartment. Get a return-style regulator - one that regulates pressure by returning excess supply back to the tank. The in-tank electric pump relies on a constant flow of fuel to keep it cool, and to block off the return line is to hand your pump a death sentence. The Mallory 4309 is about $75-80, is often used for such a conversion, and seems to be reliable. There are a couple of others available, search summitracing.com for options.
If you go with a mechanical engine-mounted pump, you can still use the return. You can use the same lines to the engine compartment, you'll just have to add line to route it over to the side of the engine with the pump on it. You'll also have to drop the tank and remove the in-tank electric pump - see the sticky at the top of the forum regarding that.
