I just got my car past the break in stage, now im having some trouble.
In the morning, its a normal temp outside. MY car starts like a champ, two pumps and then it turns right over. the problem starts a bit afterword about when my choke stops doing what is does, my car seems to not be able to run on its own. The idle will slowly go down unil it stalls. I dunno whats causing it, any ideas.
Another problem i had was when i was ddriving down the highway and about 75 or so. It wasnt anything major, the engine just seemed to surge at cruising speeds. It doesnt do it under any acceleration, its really weird. I think its fuel starvation becuse of a bit of a kink in my rubber fuel line, its not really a kink, just a bend that a bit too sharp.
Third is the oddest problem i think. It may relate to the first porblem. When Ive been driving around, and my car is good and warmed up, sometimes it seems to forget what its supposed to be idling at. Soemtimes ill stop and itll idle at 700 or so, where i set it. Other times, under the same conditions, itll idle at like 450 rpms. Any thoughts on this would be great.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Is this a feedback Q-jet? If not can you post the number stamped on the q-jet so as to know if it has Adjustable part throttle feature? and a picture of the carb as taken from the passenger side/front so I can edit it for choke adjustment location.
Im not sure if its a feedback carb or not. Ill get the numbver and the picture on here by tonite.
