Do You Need To Prime A Mech Fuel Pump?
I changed the pump on my 81 1/2 ton and it isn't flowing anything. I think I got the rod in place correctly.

not usually. but if all the gas ran out of your fuel lines it may take a bit of cranking to get it flowing again. if you want disconnect line from carb and use a small funnel and pour a little gas in it to fill lines.

I must not have cranked it enough yesterday because I came out this afternoon and it started flowing after a few cranks.
