TBI to carb swap guages probs
i recently swapped from TBI to carb on my 92 RS but in doing that i put gen I cyl heads on msd coil, hedman headers, and an msd ignition box. Now my question is how do i get my gauges to work cause only the volt meter and fuel gauge, and temp gauge works. the tach doesnt read nor does the speedo and the oil pressure gauge dont work either. does anyone have any idea how to fix this and the gauges where working with are the 145mph guages from a z-28 Supreme Member

Well i installed a 5 inch monster tach in my 89, i have a mechanical speedo and i did not trust the factory oil pressure gauge, i hit 95 lbs of pressure so i installed a cluster with the water temp also, the water temp never worked anyway.

make sure you hooked that cluster of ground wires back up to the back of the drivers side cylendar head. as for the tach clip the wires that wher running to your old coil one is black thats your tach wire make sure its hooked up to the negative plug on your dizzy... atleast thats how mine was. 91 firebird tbi.
