carb swap return spring issues

carb swap return spring issues

got a bracket and dual return spring but were do i mount it the place i was told is already in use for the throttle bracket so were do i setup the return spring?

I don't know what your bracket looks like, but I like to have the spring in front of the carb in line with the throttle cable. This neutralizes the force on the throttle shaft, unlike the stock set-up, which is behind the throttle shaft hooked to the bottom, which puts a constant load on the back of the throttle shaft. Tends to wear out the throttle plate like that.
