E85 Update: Plugs after a hard season
There was a lot of discussion about E85 last year. I decided to give it a try, and ended up season champ in my class
. (Not related, I'm sure.
)
Anyway, here's a couple of pics of the plugs. I actually richened up a little for sea level in Topeka for the Div 5 finals in September, and didn't put it back for one last race day in October. So, they're a little dirtier than they would be otherwise.
The plugs aren't in firing order, the one on the far left was from #5, I believe, the cylinder with a smashed down header tube (hoping to fix this spring). The 2nd photo is turned 60 degrees from the first photo, same plug left to right, respectively.
I didn't keep close track of total runs, but it must have been somewhere between 150-200, plus driving to the track and a few other pleasure trips.
