Fuel pump relay?
I wanted to know if i need to modify the fuel pump wiring in my TBI to carb swap. I tried to run it tonight and after probably 1-2 minutes the car died off as though it was out of fuel. Then i flipped the key on and cycled it a couple of times it, then it ran again, but only for maybe 15 seconds until it died again, i had just put fuel in it, so im sure its not out of fuel. I was wanting to know if i had to run a jumper to the fuel pump relay? im going to try making the pump run by using the diagnostic port tommorow, but i don't think that would suit me as a permanent fix.

Re: Fuel pump relay?
Run the green/white wire from the relay, through the firewall, to a keyed on 12v source on the fuse box (on my TPI swap, I took out the two 'injector' fuses since they were no longer needed, and plugged the wire from the relay into one of the terminals.) You should have a slot somewhere you can work with. Now, when you turn the key, the pump will always run.
