Carb question
Carb question
I'm lookin at buyin this 85 Camaro, guy said the carb needs to be fixed. He said that it runs and at 1/4 throttle kind of spits and then floods it. Then you put you foot to the floor and start it and it runs.
I'm not exactly sure about it, i'll find out tomorrow, but what do you guys think?
It is a 305 with a 700R. Any help would be appreciated. I will definitely know more information tomorrow.
BTW this is my first post.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
It's probably simple like something in the float needle/seat, or damaged needle/seat, or bad float. A rebuild kit and new float should fix it up (although it's impossible to say without seeing it).
