Edlebrock Loading up
Edlebrock Loading up
well i finally got my 83 running. its doing ok except after the car gets to a good operating temp. it seems to be loading up with fuel. it hesitates and 'stalls' a little when i initally throttle it to take off, but only when i just take off. after im going it does fine. but initial throttle response is terrible. i dont know if its the timing. (which is set at 12 degrees advance with a .468 cam)
the metering rods, the floats, or if the carb is out of adjustment.
some advice/help please.
and no remarks from you holley guys just because its an edlebrock. lol.

Did you try adjusting the accelerator pump arm? There's three different holes on the pump arm, try reloacting the rod to one of the other two and see if performance changes.
