Still Having carb Problems....
Well I still can't get my car running right. I am having probelms with it not holding an idle and when I go WOT from a stop it does not want to go until about 15-20mph. I took the carb off yesterday and adjusted the av tension like it says to do in the sticky and I also put in a new fuel filter. I got the carb back on today and it still has probelms holing an initial idle. I got it going and was checking for leaks and stuff and I noticed that when I pulled the acclerator linkage it would barley shoot any fuel into the carb when it used to shoot a nice stream. I got the air cleaner back on and took it around the block and it seems like it is worse. It still does not wanna get up and go but now it seems like it is hesitating all the time. Plus the engine got really hot by the time I got it back home. I thought I might have put the fuel filter in wrong or something and when i pulled off my fuel inlet line it started shooting fuel all over. I did this for about a minute and finnaly stopped. I am almost about ready to just go buy a new carb cuase I am tired of messing with this q-jet but if I can do anything to save me 300 bucks I will. Any Thoughts......

Have you checked your timing? CCC-Qjet?
Before you undo your fuel inlet line, crack open the gas tank cap to vent the pressure.
