quick question

real quick question guys, ive done my research but still got mixed reviews, my car came with the l69 dual snorkle setup and also a cowl induction hood. Should i sell my dualsnorkle setup and get an open element to put the cowl to use? or should i just keep the setup i have now?

Re: quick question

if its all factory original , dont dare get rid of it . if you want to put a different air cleaner , thats your choice . check ebay now and see what they selling for . keep all ducting and hardware clean it , spray with oil and put it away in a box .

Re: quick question

No TBI's came with the L69 dual snorkle intake. That only came on the L69 carb engines, hence its name.

On a street car, I think the "ram-air" effect from the dual snorkel would work better than the "cowl-induction" effect at highway speeds. But I'm not an engineer.

Re: quick question

no, my car came to me with a 305 crate engine with the dual snorkle,it says right on it 305 h.o. , i guess the previous owner put it on, i do know wat i am talking about, sorry for the misunderstanding, the main question is, should i sell he intake and get an open element, because i think that would work with the cowl hood better than the dual snorkle

Re: quick question

Keep it. I knew someone with a ZZ4 that ran mid 13's with the dual snorkel, so it flows enough for most mild street setups. Better then an open element sucking in hot air.
