accel module rpm

I have 1984 lg4 and I want to put the icm in my new 330 ho setup. The engine will betaking in more air and bring rpm's up . So along with the module and hypertec coil do I have to worry about exceeding the max recomended rpm of 5500?

Whose maximum 5500 RPM recommendation?

I'm running the LG4 system with a 7-pin Accel module and Supercoil on a ZZ4. It runs up to 6000 without any complaints.

As of last Friday, I'm running an Accel HEI distributor and Supercoil on the 396. It revs to 6500 without complaints.

GM doesn't want you reving over 5500 RPMs because they don't want you grenading their engine.

A rev limiter is a pretty good idea. Or, watching the tach. One or the other.
