carb help

im in the process of building a 383 stroker and im thinking itll push out around 650 hp...13:1 compression forged h beam rods 4340 forged steel crank aluminum p+p heads crosswind intake setup up for a .500 lift and im not quite sure what carb i should go with any help would be appreciated thanks

you're also not sure what heads to go with, what crank to go with, or what cam to go with. why dont you try starting with the more important things.

Too much compression, too little lift, too cheap of an intake. Unrealistic expectations.

Who's this "PBM" outfit? Can't say I've heard of them.

This sounds like an eBay scam outfit. All of the stuff sounds good to the poorly informed. In reality, it will turn out to be an exercise in disappointment.

650 SBC horses is the territory of the experienced and careful like Shafiroff. What carb to put on it is the least of the concerns.

I suggest you scale back to about a 400 HP 383, and go from there. Now I can recommend a carb - Holley 750 double pumper, probably the HP series.
