TPI to Carb
I have an 87 GTA TPI and need help with this.
Im swapping my blown mexican reman 350 with less than 16000K for a 69 Camaro SS 350 and changing to carb.
The engine and main harness is removed.
The main harness was connected to the ac control harness, the fans, gauges and transmission.
How do I get my gauges and lockup on the converter in 4th gear to still work?

Re: TPI to Carb
What, no one has swapped out their TPI for carb on an older style block before?

Re: TPI to Carb
There's an easier way to swap from TPI to carb. Sell yours, buy one that came with a carb.
Why are you changing anyway? Especially on a rare setup like an '87 GTA?

Re: TPI to Carb
I dont have a block to even build from, my harness isnt in good condition and I had nothing but problems with this setup.
Time for a change, so i have an older style block I just picked up and thats what I have to work with.
This is Canada my friend, its not easy for me to find a good TPI engine for cheap here and they are hard to come by.
Unless I could change the internals on this older block and change the heads from my blown engine I might consider it.
