swapped tbi to carb final questions
Ok, so i dont know a whole lot about carbs, but I am trying to use common sense to hook everything up. I found where my vaccumm advance distributor hooks to the carb, but i still have one more port on the passenger side under the vaccumm secondaries, plus there is a vaccumm hole on the intake right behind the carb, do i plug that off? or do i run my power brakes to one of these? A tall piece off of my old TBI intake screwed into there with a vaccum fitting on it, so i screwed it in the hole.
thanks

Still don't know what carb you have, but most carbs the big port on the bottom/back of the carb is for your power brake booster vacuum line.
You should also have a big port on the front/bottom of your carb for the PCV valve.
If you only have one big port on the back of the carb but nothing on the front of it then you run the power brake booster to the vacuum fitting on the intake behind the carb (you have to buy a fitting to screw into the threaded hole on the intake) and then run your PCV line to the big port on the back of the carb.
Both the PCV valve and power brake booster are 3/8" vacuum lines.

run your power brakes from the intake port if you have one, you will get more vaccuum from this point, and just plug the others.
If not, use the large rear port for the power brakes.
