CFI to Carb Question

Heya guys i just bought an 83 camaro with the whole crossfire injection setup wich is acting like complete junk right now.. keeps stallaing on me rondomly ext... anyhows my plan even befor buying the car was to slap an intake and carb on it. i was just wondering if there was a kit for the throttle linkages and tv cable to hook up to an edelbrock 650 or something of that nature. also with the pump only pushing out about 9 PSI will i need a fuel pressure regulator? thnx again!

Re: CFI to Carb Question

There are various bracket setups available that will mount the throttle and TV cable. Most carbs can't tolerate much more than 6 PSI or so, so you'll still need a regulator.

Re: CFI to Carb Question

You won't need EGR, unless you went through the trouble of putting a non-computer EGR setup on which would probably be more trouble than its worth.

Re: CFI to Carb Question

Also remember if you discard the ECM you'll need a non CC distributor(ie with vacuum/mechanical advance).
