Car: 1985 z28 camaro
Engine: 305 lg4,edelbrock,3"air cleaner.k&n
Transmission: turbo 700r4 w/b&m megashifter
Axle/Gears: Stock.
Choke coil.
Is it possible for the heating element of a qjet choke to go bad,while still getting correct resistance on it.test result was 7 ohms,yet with the coil hooked directly to the battery(power&ground)the coil did'nt move even though i left it a1/2 hour.

Thanks five7.The coil is the one on the holley rebuilt qjet from summit,so i'll contact them and see if they will do some thing about it.
