ok i have an 82 z28 and just have put a 350 with qjet 650 and got her running yesturday however when we fired her up she ran "wot" it sounded like, so im thinking its the carb or vacum leaks somthing so i just turned the fuel pump off and fed a little gas in the carb my self just two see if i could get a lower idle but still the same thing? would a new carb fix this or am i doing somthing wrong here

 

ok i figured it out all 4 barrels were sticking, im going with holly~ screw qjunk

 

How did you do that?

When you say, "...just have put a 350 with qjet...", do you mean you converted from fuel injection? If so, you won't fix anything by putting a Holley on it.

 

no man i have a fuel pump that sets on side the fender for carb, i bought the motor like is, and yes when i put my holly on it runs fantastic problem solved
