Im considering swaping to carb. got some ?s

Before i get told to search i already did and didnt find anything (prolly cause i dont know how to work it lol) But im really considering doin this after i get a diff DD. Would i notcie any gains in performance? I have a 91 z28 with a LB9 and 700r4 pretty much stock cept accel cap an rotor and MSD superconducter wires and hooker 2055s and magnaflow catback (4th gen).

I know im gonna need a mechanical fuel pump and the intake mani an carb what else is there needed? If you want to just throw me some ideas on what id need that would be great. Thanks nate

You don't need a mechanical fuel pump, just get a regulator that regulates down to 5-7psi. Anyway, your current fuel injection has the potential to outperform and out-econemy any carb on the market. It's all in the set up.

yea i no FI is better im just slowly making it into a weekend driver so i wont mind the carb and me and my dad think it would be a fun thing to do. Also i plan on making the most outa the 305 i can for fun i.e n20 and all that fun stuff. Just dont wana do a 350 swap. We just want to completly eliminate the ECM. Its slowly turning into a father son project once i get a new DD. And i missed mentioniung the most important part i dont want to mess around with burning chips and such.

Out economy, but TPI doesn't have nearly the performance potential of a carb.

If you don't want to mess around with chips, are you going to want to mess around with a carb?
