I've searched, but I didn't find the right info. I'm going totally non cc in my 86 bird, since all of the emissions equip. was hacked and the q-jet was toast. Does anyone have pics of what parts of the wiring harness can be removed? I'd like to completely remove my ecm.

The reason you aren't finding any pictures is because pictures aren't necessary. The big harness that comes from the passenger fenderwell is the ECM harness. Remove it (no need to cut it up, you just might regret it some day) along with whatever attaches to it, you're done.

If you have an auto tranny, you might need the piece the goes down to the tranny for the TCC lock-up function. Unless you go with a stand-alone aftermarket set-up.

There's nothing that attaches to that large bundle of wires that I won't need? That's pretty easy...

I'm going to go with the stand alone switch, and later I plan on switching to a T-5.
