hesitation while driving
My buddy and i re-jetted my dual carb setup from 66 in each carb to 40 in each carb...the car idles descent but doesnt build enough vacum to feel in the rear carb...it still runs rich even with the re-jetting...but anyways i took it for a ride and it wouldnt rev up while in gear...tried to adjust the idle mixture screws in so it would lean it out a little more but no good...im at a lost i have no idea what is going wrong...
however i did notice when trying to adjust the idle it would flucuate a lot...not giving me a constant idle...my guess is that its not building enough vacum...
sry there is a lot of info here so just let me know if u need something clarified...

its so not much a hesitation...the car almost completely shuts off and i have to limp up the rpms until like 3500 then it will take off...then same thing for 2nd 3rd and so on...

Surprised it runs at all.
Try 2 to 4 jet size changes at a time. 26 jet sizes is, well, we can't use those types of words on this Board.
You are way over-carb'd. Two 450 CFM carbs would still be too much.

total it is jetted to 80...b4 it was 132...its a dual carb setup..its still rich...but what im looking to do is just lean it out enough so that people behind me dont have to keep wiping their tears away from their eyes burning...i think im just gonna give up and get a new intake...that would be easiest and it would make a lot more reliable horsepower

A Performer RPM and 650 double pumper would make a lot more sense.

i ordered a weiand stealth intake with 1" riser...hopefully she will run a lil better...now all i need is a new starter now that this one burned out....
