holley conversion

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I have been a member for about a month and have done so much searching that I never even needed to ask a question untill now. I need an opinion on what size holley to get. Either a 600 or 650. I have a stock lg4 with hooker 2055's, edelbrock performer intake and 3" flowmaster exhaust. The trans is a T5. I am going with a 4150 series holley DP. Mileage is not a concern.

Should I go with a 600 or 650 cfm carb?

I also need to know if I can use my stock fuel pump which still works fine. If so, what lines and fittings will I need to hook up to the holley? Part #'s would be great.

P.S. I have a non cc controlled dizzy already.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

A 600 will be more than enough. You will need a dual feed line to attach to the Holley itself. From the pump, you can either cut the stock line, put in an in-line filter and attach it to the dual feed line with short pieces of rubber hose, or Summit has several options for braided fuel line kits (check under "Plumbing" from their menu).

So I can use my stock pump? Do you know what size fitting I need for the stock pump to the carb?

The pump fitting is a standard 3/8" flared fitting. At the carb depends upon which dual feed line you get.
