Has anyone ever tried this?

Has anybody ever milled the divider plate in their intake? If so did it help?
Thanks

I've known people who have, but they were not happy with the results.

You could try it if you thought your manifold was choking at high RPM. You'd probably get the same results from an open spacer.

Thats interesting. A buddy of mine is in the process of building a motor off a set of specs that he acquired from a speed shop and on the specs it says to mill the divider like 3/4" or so to gain a little hp. I thought I would try that to mine, but now I dont know.

It's not a magic improvement that always produces positive results. If you did it on an engine set up for low RPM performance, you could end up hurting it more then helping.

Say I run a divided spacer and my intake already has a small transfer slot in the divider already and I decide to make it bigger?

You might make it better, make it worse, or make no difference at all.
