I just want sumone to confirm these both work with the 305 ho engine. I have an 85 and wana change out my air filter will the

edelbrock 4222 elite triangle work

edelbrock 42074 elite round work

also do i need to purchase any wing nut adapter or will the ones they provide work.

Also if i wanted to put a kn filter in it vrs the white paper one they give you i saw someone said that kn filter E-1650 will work is that correct.

 

The 4222 won't work because it's a raised base.

The 42074 will work, and includes a nut.

The filter they include with the triangle version is the same thing as a K&N. A standard 14x3 (or 2, or 4) element will fit the round one.
