Re: Carb spitting out fuel.

I've seen carbs spit fuel out when they aren't running right, usually timing or something of that sort. Are you sure its not just leaking from the fuel bowl?

Re: Carb spitting out fuel.

Is the car running fine or is it stumbling real bad? If it s running fine check around the front air horn (top plate) screws. Assuming you have the factory Qjet. Sometimes the top gasket starts to leak or the air horn gets warped.

Im not sure what you mean by stumbling, but lately i have noticed that when i accelerate it does tend to feel like,it doesn't wanna go.Im not sure if that has anything to do with it,It makes somewhat of a low growl sound, then starts to pick up.

Re: Carb spitting out fuel.

It could be a problem with the carb but I'd check timing too just to be safe. Many "carb" problems end up being distributer or vacuum problems.
