Holley Stumble
Holley Stumble
i have a 92 RS with a 400sbc mostly stock. 725 holley on it thats been rebuilt if i punch the gas from idle it stumbles then will pick up. but if i throttle up slow its fine. would that be a incorrectly adjusted accelerator pump.. or is it something else. its drivable like it is.. just irritating if i wanna get on it a lil bit

im guessing carb to big

ok, i changed the accelerator pump cam and loosened the spring up some.. and it helped it alot. its alot better. in a few weeks just gonna buy a new edelbrock carb. cuz i got to lookin and it leaks gas from the throttle arm.. and i dont feel like tearin down that baseplate to redo the seals in it

ive went from worn holley to new edelbrock and then traded the edelbrock for a rebuilt holley. i personally loathe the edelbrock carbs.......personal experiences

While I appreciate the answer, I don't want to hijack the thread, I was just looking for a quick answer. I'm having other issues with the carb as well so I think I'm gonna have to break down and start a thread on my issues. Searching isn't working out so well.
