carb or tpi camaro

I am going to put this her and in the tpi forum. I'm sure the responses will be different. I am looking to get a 3rd gen camaro again. I had a nice 89 iroc and long story short end up parting it out. Then bought a 85 carb model and that car was just plain wore out. Now I am getting the bug again. And am looking at getting a car not for my dd but just to have fun with when I want. I want to do up the motor to get 350 to 400 hp to the wheels. My question is what would be easier and cheaper (carb or tpi) to get those numbers? I have a feeling it will cost me more with a tpi to get to 350 to 400 hp.

The "to the wheels" part is almost certain to drive you to carb.

Unless you do a power adder. Or swap in an LS1.
