help on Carb or TPI
Hello I am not a car guy but may start I was given a car with a 350 tpi engine in it. the engine is suppose to be pushing upwards of 400 horse, and the friend who gave me the car had enough, the novelty wore off so
here i am with this engine and transmission that has upwards of $12000.00 worth of work on it. It comes with a painless wiring harness
so i can put it into any vehicle. My question is should i keep it a TPIengine
or go carberated, another friend has a intake tunnel ramp with 2 4 barrels on it for a 350 engine. What are the odds it will fit, should i switch and what all else do I need for this task, still have not picked a vehicle to put it in. My friend, had modified corvette motor mounts and a boxed frame on a 1970 jeep wagoneer and still twisted the fram and could snap motor mounts at will. any help would be appreciated.

I'm confused. Are you saying you have a 3rd gen with a 400 HP engine, and another $12k engine?
Or, are you saying the 400 HP engine in the 3rd gen has $12k in it?

Re: help on Carb or TPI
I think he's saying he has a 400hp engine that has $12k worth of work in it, and NO car, be it a 3rd gen or any other
