i have swapped a 350 into my 85 camaro equipped with a 2.8 multi port v6. my fuel pump puts out to much pressure and im told many ways to fix this problem. they say to either put an inline pump on it and get rid of stock in tank pump. or the people at summit and on here say to use that mallory 4309 regulator?? but i saw people have problems with that so idk what to say or do i wish my motor had the spot for a mechanical pump!!!! damn!! please help pics and past experiences with good results would be nice thanks in advance.

Re: HELP!! ME!! PLEASE!!
Mallory 4309 - does the job with no issues - had mine on over 2 years now with no issues at all.

An external pump is going to require that you drop the gas tank, because you'll burn up any external pump trying to suck fuel though the non-working in-tank pump. Plus, they make a bunch of whining noise all day.

A mechanical pump will also require dropping the tank, as there's no way it will be able to suck fuel though a dead in-tank pump.

So, unless you want to spend a day dropping the tank (or cutting out an access hole in the trunk without mistake) to remove the in-tank pump and install a carb pickup, get the Mallory 4309
