Re: Need help on my rebuild

FIRST THING - find out what caused the fire! It's not from a poorly run sub wire is it? I see people running sub wires poorly all the time, and I'm always thinking - there's another parts car I can get in a few months! (the first parts car I ever bought was from this - had sub wires running though the door, when door closed, pinched wire, until it shorted, caused the battery to explode, and the fire melted everything under the hood, including the carburator!)

Re: Need help on my rebuild

No its not, the carb loaded up and backfired burning hose causing gas to spray under hood. Radiator, altenator, carb, all plastics ( over flow & washer fluid) and wiring. Jus found possible parts car so that will get me going. Got all burnt parts off, now wanting to clean up stuff left over from it being fuel injected, ya know stuff i dont need under there. This will be my first big car project so all the help i can get will be great. thanks for the reply. All tips wanted and welcomed.
