Car: 1983 z28 and 3000gt twin turbo
Engine: 305 v8
Transmission: auto with b&m shifter
Axle/Gears: i dont know. they're stock
how do i know if my carb needs rebuilt..
I have a rochester quadrajet carb. how can i tell if it needs rebuilt? i don't even know if my secondaries are opening. my car is running like crap and i don't know why, i'm going in circles wasting money left and right

If you don't think it's ever been rebuilt it couldn't hurt. They are a little complex so if you can find someone who has done them before you might be better off , I'm acually waiting for my father to do mine now because he's done a ton of them in the past .

Steps to diagnosing and repairing carburetor problems when your car is running like crap:
1) Fix whatever is wrong with your ignition system, fuel delivery, and sensors.
2) Step #2 is not needed 75% of the time.
