idle speed for 305

i was just wondering what was the idle speed for my 87 camaro 305 carberated is.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, 3.23 non-LS

600-700 is a good range.

I go as low as i can go and it still run smooth.

i cleaned out the carb today. The fuel filter in it was sooo bad it was hard and full of rust. So i replaced that. its a lot better but its still not perfect any suggestions to make my carb perfect?

i have it perfect now right at 5 and really smooth
