The standard TBI cable should work fine - the TPI cars had longer cables that didn't work as well for the carb swap. You just need the proper geometry correctors for your carb and a nice sturdy cable bracket.

It had a tbi in it. I was told to get a tv cable that would work for a demon.

There was no such thing, at least from GM, as there were only the TBI's the TPI's, the Quadrajets, and the CFI systems.
Lokar makes custom TV cables - but as I understand it you have to make it the right length and such - I've never done one, and only ever seen one once as they aren't cheap.
But a stock carb cable or TBI cable should work - it's what most all of us generally use - just need the corrector for the linkage, the pin to attach the cable with, and a good bracket - summit sells all that, and you already have the TBI cable.

I have the CSR on my demon also. I tried the Mr. Gasket POS and tossed it after many mods to make it work and not flex. Also, I used the TCI geometry corector. You need to drill a hole in it for the throttle shaft (it sticks out more than on a Holley).

The part number i gave you was for a car with a tbi. That's the cable you need.
Also you really should get the geometry corrector. If you don't you will eather have to much line pressure at part throttle (really hard shifts) or not enough pressure at heavy throttle (which over time will kill your clutch packs).
And as pancherj said don't use the cheap chrome ones that hook up to the rear carb stud. They flex, twist and most don't have enough adjustment to place the cable in the right spot. The csr is a really nice piece or if u want to save money and don't care about looks the Holley 20-95 works perfect but u might have to bend up the tab by the mounting hole (don't remember if demon has the groove in the bp for it).
