Need a new carb
I have a 1985 L69 5 speed camaro, 350 (260 HP) crate motor. Distributor is a vacuum advance, carb is a Edelbrock 750cfm. Intake is edelbrock , as is the exhaust manifolds. Exhaust is edelbrock, with flowmaster muffler and Hi flow cat. Car runs like ****,(sounds funny, low idle) but when I wiggle the throttle shaft, it runs great (sounds healthy, idle comes up). I believe the throttle shaft is leaking air.
Looking to replace, but don't want to break the bank. I don't know if its worth fixing the Edelcrap. Is the Summit carb OK?

Re: Need a new carb
Was reading online, seems like a common problem. I might just get a Holley Street Avanger 4150 carb, its only $369. It should be better.
