Replacing fuel line

Has anyone replaced their entire fuel line? If so where did you route it? By replace I 'm talking more along the lines of removing factory line and running new (aftermarket) larger lines. Thanks

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics

I changed my lines as well. I'm running an external electric fuel pump and a reglator. I ran 1/2" steel line from the tank and basically followed the same route as the original lines up around the frame rail and under the brake booster, etc. I flared the ends with 37 deg flares and used 37 deg fittings. I originally used the stock 3/8" EFI supply line as the return from the regulator but ended up needing a second 3/8" steel line for a return to keep the pressures from rising too high and tied the second one into the original 5/16" line at the tank. They all come into the engine compartment at the same location as the stock EFI lines.
You can see them here before I ran the second 3/8" line. http://www.turbocamaroproject.com/GT...EngineBay.html

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics

ive replaced my fuel lines with -8an stainless steel braided lines. I had to modify it all to fit dual walbro pumps in my tank. I have -8an for feed and return. If you go look on my turbo thread you will find the pictures you are looking for.

I have walbro in-tank pump. Tied into factory pick ups with -6AN supply and return. To try to hide the lines I went all the way in front of the radiator to get to the other side of the car. My problem is when hot pressure is unstable and it doesn't want to start. I kind of think I'm cooking the fuel.

Looks good. Did you modify the pick up at all to change the size of the supply lines? If so, how? Please check out my response to someone else above to get an idea what my problem is. Thanks

I understand what you did now. Thanks. It has been recommended to me to run a second return line. It's been a couple years and I really don't remember what I did with the evap line. Man, I really don't feel like dropping the tank again.

I moved this question and the responses to a new thread because it didn't have anything to do with posting pictures of your carb'd set-up.
