I just chaned my car from a 305 tpi to a 350 carb and i was wondering with a stock 91z hood can anything clear it with my setup? I have an airgap intake with a holley 670 carb on top. I know they make low profile air cleaners, but i need to be certain that it can fit. Time is running out until i drop her in and i need to know that it will clear. Later on i will get a cowl since it needs to breathe and have room. Also will this be bad if lets say the hood clears the filter but only breathes the hot air under the hood since i dont have a raised hood??

 

i run an rpm air gap with a holley street avenger on top and it clears the stock hood with a drop base air cleaner

Thats the problem though. I just went from tpi to carb so i know nothing about what i should be looking for. Id feel better if i get a link to the one that has been proven to work. As time goes by ill get better but right now im clueless.
