8 psi safe?

Will I be safe to run this on a quick fuel 750 Q series carb for little while? Can't seem to regulate the fuel any lower at the moment.

Maybe there's a trick I can do to get me by incase I have to change the regulator?

A Holley-style carb can handle it in most cases. Don't try it with a QJet or Edelbrock carb, though.
