carb swap

ok im doing a tpi to carb swap what can i keep what wires do i need to keep and what ones can i get ridof what do i need to do in order to make lights and gauges still work mainly speedometer and

In the "welcome to the carburetor forum" sticky in the top section of this forum, there is a link to a tech article on converting from EFI to carb.

It has also been discussed numerous times, such that a search would tell you that the ECM harness that goes to the passenger side fenderwell can all be removed intact without cutting anything, and that the wires that remain from the connectors on the driver side of the firewall will provide power to starter, alternator, ignition, and gauges when you do this downgrade.

For the record, unless you have an '87-older f-body, and unless you do a computer carb, this conversion is illegal for street use in all 50 of the United States. Just for the record...

i was just askin cause im not good with this FI stuff now carb i can do its the whole computer crap i cant do im only 17 i wanna learn all of it but just so complicted and i dont need this post anymore actually its wired up and running
