i have an 84 t/a with a 305 changed the intake and carb to edelbrock and bought all the geometry corrector brackets and my tv cable still does not line up correctly. and also my throttle cable is still a half inch longer then my linkages i would like to see how anyone else set up their cars intake is edelbrock 2101 and carb is 1406 has the 700 r4 trans

 

Which brackets are you using?

 

If you are using the Edelbrock bracket for the TV and speedo cables I HIGHLY recommend replacing it. I had it on mine and nothing lined up correctly.

I ended up buying Bowtie Overdrive's brackets that go underneath the carb. I believe I paid $50 for everything. It's a bit pricey but soooooo much better.
