need help on tpi to carb

i bought a 89 irocz and it has been converted to carb it has a pressure regulator on it and a holley carb but now all the sudden eveytime i floor it my motor gets flooded out and the carb dosent quit pumping fuel can anyone help i think its still using th efactory fuel pump im not sure
