first (attempted) start since tpi to carb swap
Car is a 1986 trans am it is a 350 it used to have a tpi set up but i swaped it over to carb. well yesterday i pretty much got to the point where i wanted to see if it would start we poured some fuel in the bowls because i havnt finised wiring the fuel pump and tried to turn it over and it seemed like it wanted to go but would not go. as so as i would let off ignition it would die.
Its got a holley 600 vacuum secondaries carb, basically a performer intake, and ebay clear distributor i checked all my wires to make sure they were in the right position and they are also made sure it was on tdc and still nothing...any suggestions what it could be?
here is a video of it

Sounds like you got no fire at all. Didn't sound like it even tried to kick to me. Got spark? If you do, I'd check the timing- it could just be massively retarded. You can check the timing even when you're cranking on the starter you just need sharp eyes to look for the mark since it will only flash maybe once a second or so.
