Anyone running carbed vortec in their thirdgen??

Engine: 305 TBI, 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4 Both Cars
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Posi.. 4 wheel disc both cars
Anyone running carbed vortec in their thirdgen??
Just got a 1998 5.7 vortec, for my 89 RS, am freshening it up , and running a RPM airgap, and holley 750.. Got all the bolton goodies..Wondering what kind of results to expect ..700r4, 3.23 posi, and car has been on a diet...Not sure on cam selection yet, any ideas?? Running a 2500 stall..so whats the verdict on the vortecs??? Thanks...

I liked mine. Had good top-end and bottom..felt like. I've been running Dart heads since 2005 though.

Run an xr270, xr276, or LT4 hotcam. Those should get you into the 330-375fwhp range.
