CC Q-Jet questions

So, about to toss in a 350 while prepping a 4.8 swap. I'm going to run a CC Q-Jet and I know nothing about them, except that I need one to pass emissions inspection. Can it come from an earlier year? Will it pass with a Crower 514/535 270/277 217/225 cam on a 110 split? If not, how about a Lunati 507/515 262/270 211/219 on 112?

Technically, the system has to come from the same model year or newer than the chassis. For all practical purposes, though, it won't make a difference (unless you happen to live in CA).

If I'm interpreting your cam details correctly, the Lunati is more likely to sniff clean.

That lunati is going to pull less vacuum at idle, may cause some issues with tuning the carb.

Re: CC Q-Jet questions

Thank you both.
I found an '85 ccc QJ from an LG4, and an '83 ccc HEI. Still looking for an ECM.
I'll start with the Lunati, since the Crower should need more supporting mods, and that money might be better spent on the 4.8
